Terug van weg geweest...

Het is voor mij doen een behoorlijke tijd geleden dat ik wat gepost heb. Ik heb de afgelopen tijd ook eigenlijk niet getekend. Ik kon me er niet toe zetten.
Voorzichtig probeer ik weer wat challenges in te halen en nieuw uitgekomen patronen te tekenen.
It has been a while since I have post anything on this blog. I haven't actually been drawing; I just couldn't find the joy in it. I'll try to catch up with some challenges and trying out some new patterns.

Have not been drawing for a while. Been busy with non-smoking, stopped April 1st, and doing great if I may say so for myself.
Had sad news of my sister in law passed away after being sick and in/out hospitals for the last 3 months.
Got tickled to set myself in the sun today and get my sketchbook on my knee and tangle.
Laura's Diva Challenges is a very good start te get me tangling again. Thanks Laura!


Today the challenge is to use Aroz-tangle/Schway-tangle. Been playing a bit with the colors in Picasa.

Diva's Challenge #104

This week the Diva challenges us members to use string # 003 from TanglePatterns.com. Since there were alot of sections I found it hard to keep my drawing simple... This time I just grabbed in my little box with patterns and used the one I grabbed. 
The result below; I think it's very busy, too many different patterns.

Playing with the new Zentangle pattern Bunzo is the challenge of The Diva for this week. I couldn't resist using some color. This tangle is OK, simple to draw but with great visual effects. Enjoy and thanks for visiting my weblog!

Got this lovely journal from my son Luuk (11) as a gift. 

Isn't that sweet of him?

Now I have seen lots of Alphabets on the internet and wanted to do that project too. 

So that's what I am filling this beautiful journal with: 

the alphabet and sharing it with my visitors.
