Autumn leaves for the Diva

This weeks challenge from the Diva is to use autumn leaves as your string. Since the leaves are still green in Holland, thanks to a long, long summer, I drew the leaves out of free hand...
What do you think of them?
I've drawn on toned tan paper from Strathmore and used PITT Artst pen sanguine,  Conté de Paris pencil (white), a dark red fine marker, my UniPins and some color pencil.

Circles are my string...

Diva's challenge this week is to use circles as a string. I 've ripped a circle out of a piece of wrapping paper, paste it down, drew some extra circles and started to tangle...
Did the shading with a brown and white colorpencil and regular grey pencil.
And I used a white
gelly pen.

BOEKENLEGGERS / BOOKMARKS

Ik doe mee met een boekenlegger-ruil op Zentangle Artist Trading Card Groep op Facebook.
Totaal deden 50 deelnemers mee en de hostess heeft de groep in drieën verdeeld. Ik mag naar 16 mensen een boekenlegger sturen.

I am joining a bookmark-swap at Zentangle Artist Trading Card Group on Facebook.
There is a total of 50 participants and the hostess devided the group in three. So I can send a bookmark to 16 participants.

Tangled hearts

Finished the hearts for the HEART BOOKLET SWAP at Lineweaving.
It was such a lovely (hearty) project!!!
I loved to make them all!

Aboriginal Dotpainting in de mandala

Vandaag hebben Silke en Mieke gestipt, gestipt en gestipt :-)
Opdracht was de schilderkunst van de Aborigins in de mandala te verwerken. Er kon gebruik gemaakt worden van Aboriginal symbolen of een zelf opgezette geometrische vorm. Mieke koos voor authentieke symbolen en Silke en ik kozen voor een geometrische vorm, met passer opgezet. Het resultaat: heel mooi geworden dames!

Mieke aan het werk, nog niet helemaal klaar, maar mooi genoeg om in Picasa van een frame te voorzien...
