I chose Bales, 'cause its an easy pattern with lots of possibilities, although I show Bales in this drawing in its simplicity.

Autumn leaves for the Diva

This weeks challenge from the Diva is to use autumn leaves as your string. Since the leaves are still green in Holland, thanks to a long, long summer, I drew the leaves out of free hand...
What do you think of them?
I've drawn on toned tan paper from Strathmore and used PITT Artst pen sanguine,  Conté de Paris pencil (white), a dark red fine marker, my UniPins and some color pencil.

Paisley ATC's voor DZS

Het thema van de maand september bij de Dutch Zentangle Swappers (DZS) is Paisley. Opdracht was een gekleurde en een zwart witte te ruilen...
Hmmm, ik weet nog niet van welke gekleurde ik afstand kan doen.

Theme of September at the DZS is Paisley. Challenge is to make a colored one and a classical black/white. Not sure which colored one I will swap.
