Autumn leaves for the Diva

This weeks challenge from the Diva is to use autumn leaves as your string. Since the leaves are still green in Holland, thanks to a long, long summer, I drew the leaves out of free hand...
What do you think of them?
I've drawn on toned tan paper from Strathmore and used PITT Artst pen sanguine,  Conté de Paris pencil (white), a dark red fine marker, my UniPins and some color pencil.

Terug van vakantie!!! - Nieuw patroon / I am back!!! - New Pattern

C'est moi, climbing

Frankrijk was heerlijk en eigenlijk moesten we weer te snel aan de gang met de alledaagse gebeurtenissen: werk, school, sportvereniging, huishouden.
We zijn twee weken in de Jura geweest en hebben van alles gedaan:  zwemmen, wandelingen, gevaarlijke klimpartijen, stadjes bezocht, tafeltennissen, kanoën, lezen. Twee boeken heb ik uitgelezen en he-le-maal niet getekend. Kun je je dat voorstellen? Ik en niet tekenen?
Hoogste tijd om dat in te halen. Ik ben druk bezig met de ATC-swaps van Lineweaving, de 3D-ATC's en Edgers ATC's.

Toen ik vanmorgen met Tico, onze hond, ging wandelen zag ik deze zaadjes op de grond liggen..... TADA!!!!
Een nieuw tanglepatroon met een simpele naam: C'ds. Hoe deze te tekenen, scroll even naar beneden daar vind je hem.

VEEL PLEZIER MET ONTDEKKEN!!!

France was wonderful and we had to get back to the usual things like work, school, sports, household, too quickly. 
We have been for two weeks in de Jura/France, camping and did very much: swimming, walks, towns visited, table tennis, canoeing, reading. Two books I have finished and haven't drawn. Can you imagine that? Me not drawing? I am eager to start again. Past two days I have been working on the swaps I join at Lineweaving: 3D ATC's (BIG FUN!!!!), and Edgers (haven't start that one yet). Below my first card:

On my walk with Tico, our dog, I saw these seeds on the ground... TADA!!!!
A new pattern simply named: C'ds. How to draw: scroll down and you will find it.

New pattern Kwilt by Ellen Wolters

I just love Pinterest and do not mind if people pin my pictures (well as long as they mention the address were they got the pic :-). I think Pinterest is very inspirational. This patterns is inspired by a pic I saw on Pinterest and it's from a quilt; that't the reason I call this pattern Kwilt, quilt phonetically written :-). I know of a pattern among the tons of tanglepatterns that looks about the same, do not know how it's named, but this one came from my own source and is therefore not copied :-) Happy tangling and have fun!!!

Diva's Challenge #80 - pattern MI2

Same as Laura Harms I wanted to explore this tangle for a long time now. So I was glad this weeks challenge from The Diva gave me the opportunity. I used the explanation of Rick Roberts, you can find it here. That made it much easier for me. Well easier.... I did made mistakes, but, guess what.... leafs came out of it :-) Still have got to play more with this very hard tangle.

Not only auraknot... (Diva's challenge)

Yesterday de Diva came with her challenge using Auraknot (Zentangles new pattern).
I thought I didn't like the new pattern and wasn't intend to join this challenge. 
So I made some stacked boxes to tangle in and then I thought: 
lets give auraknot a try...

This is what came out of it and..... to be honest..... I like it :-) 

A rebound for auraknot :-)
