Diva's challenge 'Home'

I picked up my camera and walked into our little backyard... I love flowers, I love plants, I love gardening, I love outside, I love nature, I love flowers, I love plants... Oops I am repeating myself... sorry... but I just adore my garden. 
I decided to take pictures of all (read: some :-))the lovely tangles in my backyard and draw them... Our little garden is full off nice and lovely corners, places to surprise yourself, colors. (wish I had a bigger garden, allthough, already having a hard time to choose which one I shall use in my contribution to this challenge. But it all worked out just fine and this is the result.  Scroll down to see were I got the inspiration from. All in my little backyard! I LOVED THIS CHALLENGE!

Tangling with ATC left overs...

I cut my Summerholliday ATC's in the right size and these small strokes were left over's. I couldn't throw them away, 'cause the colors were oh so nice :-) I glew them in this star shape and started tangling...

Ik knipte mijn Zomervakantie ATC's in de juiste maat en deze smalle strookjes waren over. Ik kon ze niet weggooien; de kleuren waren zo mooi :-). Ik lijmde ze in deze stervorm en begon te tanglen...

Voor mijn tekenen met kinderen-groep van de woensdagmiddag: Lindsay, Wesley, Simone, Marjolein en Cheyenne heb ik een ATC swap georganiseerd met het thema: zomervakantie!

Voor vader...

Vaderdag was het afgelopen zondag. Dit hebben de kids gemaakt. Afbeeldingen, specifiek voor ieders vader, opgeplakt met 3D stickertjes. Een opgerold documentje met een lief berichtje voor papa. Ik kon het natuurlijk niet eerder posten, want de vaders mochten van niets weten.

Diva's Challenge: CADENT

Diva's Challenge for this week is to play with the pattern Cadent. I love Cadent; it has so much possibililties. Playing with the light and shadows. It turns out to become Cadent in Cadent in Cadent....

Zwart/wit mandala's

Ik heb aan deze swap (ruiling)- Black and white mandalas (half-size paper quilt swap) meegedaan op Lineweaving.com en heb vier hele mooie zwart/wit mandala's mogen ontvangen en in een 8 x 8 inch fotoalbum gedaan. Het leek mij leuk om zelf nog eens vier mandala's te maken en deze naast de andere vier te plakken. Zo gezegd, zo gedaan en hier is het resultaat:

I've joined this Black and White mandalas (half-size paper quilt swap) at Lineweaving.com and received four beautiful black 'n white mandalas of other participants. I thought it would be fun to make four others by myself and paste them besides the four I received. This is the result:

Diva's challenge: Eccentric Circles 1 and 2

This week The Diva has this string theory: Eccentric Circles as a challenge. For this challenge you need to draw a string of eccentric circles. First the one with the flower came out, althought the result is pretty, I think (;-)), I think the second is much better for this challenge.

Keltisch Wiel en Vier Seizoenen Boom

Vanochtend hebben we heerlijk getekend met z'n drieën.  Mieke, vandaag voor het laatst, ging de Vier Seizoenen Boom tekenen en Fennie zette het Keltisch Wiel op papier. Mieke komt na de zomervakantie terug; tijdens de zomer gaat zij haar andere hobby uitoefenen: geocaching.

Fennie is een ster in het moeilijk maken voor zichzelf. Haar Keltisch wiel met veel vlechtwerk, doordat zij de lijnen verdubbelde.

Mijn Keltisch Wiel pakte heel anders uit.
