Ten new tangled hearts

The previous ones are beautiful, if I may say so for myself ;-), but they were of the wrong size. 
So I made 10 new ones, NO PROBLEM. I love to draw, so....
Eight will be send of to the hostess of this lovely Heart Booklet Swap.

Tangled hearts

Finished the hearts for the HEART BOOKLET SWAP at Lineweaving.
It was such a lovely (hearty) project!!!
I loved to make them all!

HARTEN boekje

Lineweaving heeft een leuke uitdaging op dit moment. Download een template op de site en tangle de harten naar hartelust :-) Je kunt je inschrijven tot 14 januari, dus je hebt nog een week! Pas 14 februari op Valentijnsdag moeten de harten verzonden worden naar de deelnemers.
Zoveel deelnemers, zoveel harten mogen er getangled worden.

Lineweaving has a real nice challenge going on. Download the template from the website and start tangling the hearts :-) You can sign in till January 14, so you've got another week! 
On February 14th on Valentines Day the cards has to be send of to the other participants. So a whole month to draw your hearts!
Each participant will receive a heart from you. Right now we are with about 7. I would love to make and send some more hearts ;-) COME JOIN THE HEARTY FUN !!!!

Open your heart

Open your heart is Cindy's new Inspire Inspire Art Journal prompt from Lineweaving.
It has been a while since I have been drawing in my Art Journal, and this one isn't either. This one is drawn in a sketchbook of A3 size.  Just wanted to go BIG with this prompt and since I got this sketchbook recently I just had to use it!

I heart (love) flowers alot and then especially the colors and all their forms. These flowers are all made of heart shapes, see for  yourself.

Valentijn harten

Vandaag heb ik met de kinderen Valentijn harten gemaakt. Vorige week hebben we het voorbereidend werk gedaan: de harten uit keukenrol gescheurd, op papier geplakt met transparant opdrogende lijm en vandaag hebben we de harten met softpastel en stiften bewerkt. 

Daarna mochten de kinderen harten uit karton knippen en deze als sjabloon gebruiken. Nadat we die gefixeerd hadden met haarlak mochten ze er tanglepatronen op maken met een zwarte finemarker.

Harten gescheurd uit keukenrol, opgeplakt, heel goed laten drogen en bewerkt met softpastelkrijt en viltstift.

Rechts, detail met bloem, heb ik toiletpapier gebruikt (:-)), en het bloemetje van het toiletpapier kwam terug toen ik het bewerkte met softpastel. Overigens kwam het patroontje van de keuken (stippen) ook terug.

All you need is...

Op Lineweaving.com heb ik een challenge gestart, zie een eerder gepost bericht. Ditmaal heb ik een droge achtergrond gemaakt met PanPastel.  De werkbeschrijving vind je hieronder. Dit zou ook heel goed kunnen met pastelkrijt of schoolbordkrijt. Fixeer wel goed nadat je de kleur hebt aangebracht, zeker schoolbordkrijt. Fixeren kun je met de goedkoopste haarlak! Daarna kun je het met (zwarte) finemarkers tanglen. Veel plezier!

At Lineweaving.com I started a challenge, see a previously posted message. This time I have a dry background made with PanPastel. The how to can be found below. This would work also very well with pastel chalk or chalkboard chalk. Do fix the color very well, certainly Blackboard chalk. You can fix with the cheapest Hairspray! After that you can tangle with (black)fine markers tanglen. Have fun!

Teken halve harten, eventueel van verschillende grootte, op dubbel gevouwen stevig papier

Draw half hearts of different sizes, if you want, on double folded construction paper

Knip uit

Cut out

Leg de sjablonen op je tekenvel, houd goed op z'n plaats en wrijf het de PanPastel, softpastel of schoolbordkrijt over de randen van je sjabloon en het tekenvel. De hartvorm zal wit blijven. Hierna fixeren.

Put the templates on your drawingpaper, keep well in place and rub the chalkboard or the softpastel or the PanPastel edges on the edges of your template and the drawingpaper. The heart shape will remain white. After this fixate the chalk.

Nu naar hartelust (:-)) versieren met je favoriete tangles.

Now you can tangle with your favorite tangles :-)

I love my Sharpie Fine Markers

I am into hearts lately, obvious 'cause Valentines Day is knocking at my door! So I made this little piece (10 x 10 cm). And I love my Sharpie, it's such a nice fine marker.

Ik ben de laatste tijd helemaal 'into' harten. Niet zo gek met Valentijns Dag in het verschiet. Dus heb ik dit kleine kunstwerkje gemaakt van 10 x 10 cm. Ik ben dol op mijn Sharpie Ultra Fine stiften.
